In response to the specific requirements of a client from the construction metalwork industry, we have designed a dedicated a kiosk designed to work in difficult industrial conditions, such as welding stations.
The client expected a solution that met high standards of dust and water resistance, was easy to use and resistant to potential user errors. A key requirement was also a solid construction with a door, equipped with a touch screen and a shelf for a keyboard and mouse, which would enable efficient logging of work time during the execution of production orders.
In response to these needs, we proposed a kiosk equipped with a panel computer with a 21.5-inch Full HD LCD screen with a resistive touch panel, an Intel i5-10210U processor, 128 GB of SSD memory, and 8 GB of RAM. The device is equipped with an RFID reader (Mifare/Uniq) and a stable base with a shelf.
Additionally, to ensure reliable operation in harsh industrial conditions, the kiosk is equipped with a voltage converter and protected with a powder-coated housing, which guarantees durability and resistance to intensive use in a factory environment.
